How to cancel Lox Club membership: what the terms state
Lox Club's own Terms of Use and help centre, read 20 September 2026: the cancel path per platform, the no-pause answer, auto-renewal and the refund clause.
To cancel a Lox Club membership, cancel the subscription in the store that bills it: on iPhone, Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Lox Club > Cancel; on Android, Google Play > profile picture > Payment & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Lox Club > Cancel subscription. The Terms call the fee non-refundable, the help centre says it cannot be paused, and cancelled members stay subscribed until the term expires.
That is how to cancel Lox Club membership as the operator describes it, read by this desk on 20 September 2026 from two loxclubapp.com pages: the help centre FAQ and a Terms of Use document headed “Updated July 10, 2026”.
How to cancel Lox Club membership on iPhone and Android
Lox Club collects its fee “via the Apple / Google in-app payment system”, the Terms state. The Terms add two methods: inside the app, Me > Preferences > Manage Membership > Cancel subscription, which “links the User’s native iCloud / Google Play Account Subscription Settings” and leaves the member free to resubscribe; or “a clear and specific cancellation request email” to hey@loxclubapp.com.
What the terms and the help centre state, side by side
The table sets each question against the Terms of Use, the help centre and the rank-two result for this query, an AppCutter template page, all read on 20 September 2026.
| Question | Help centre | Terms of Use (Updated July 10, 2026) | AppCutter template |
|---|---|---|---|
| How do I cancel? | iOS: Settings > Name > Subscriptions > Lox Club > Cancel. Android: Google Play > profile picture > Payment & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Lox Club > Cancel subscription | In-app: Me > Preferences > Manage Membership > Cancel subscription; or email hey@loxclubapp.com | “Login to your Lox Club account” and look for “Billing”, “Subscription”, “Payment”, “Manage account” or “Settings” |
| Browser path? | None given | None given | Offers a “Cancel on Website” section |
| Can I pause? | “We don’t have the capability to pause where you are in your subscription” | The word “pause” does not appear in the document | Not in the passages read |
| Does it auto-renew? | Not answered on the page | Yes: “indefinite successive renewal terms for the same period as the initial term, until canceled”; members “are charged upon such renewals” | “Always cancel subscription 24 hours before it ends” |
| Any refund? | Not answered on the page | “Non-refundable and accrues on the first day of each term”; no refunds for partial billing periods unless a promotional offer states otherwise | Not in the passages read |
| After cancelling? | Not answered on the page | Member stays “on current subscription until it expires”; can resubscribe | Not in the passages read |
| Prices | Not on this page | Operator “reserve[s] the right to raise or lower” fees | $95.99 annual, $59.99 six-month, “reported by AppCutter.com users” |
| Terms link | n/a | /terms-of-service answers 200 | Links /tos, which answered 404 |
“Not answered on the page” means the help centre FAQ, searched for “refund” and “renew”, returned nothing.
Does Lox Club give refunds after cancelling?
Not as a rule. The fee “is non-refundable and accrues on the first day of each term or successive renewal term until cancelled, regardless of whether you use the Service.” “No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods, unless otherwise stated in an applicable promotional offer”, and “unused in-app purchases will not be refunded” at expiry or termination.
The exception is contractual wording, not a summary of anyone’s law. A “State-specific Terms” clause for users residing in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin says the buyer “may cancel your membership, without penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the third business day following the original date of this contract, excluding Sundays and holidays.”
What the template page gets wrong
Its first instruction, log in and look for a “Billing” menu, matches neither operator page. It links the Terms at loxclubapp.com/tos, which answered a “We couldn’t find the page” 404; the live document is at /terms-of-service. Its price table is labelled “average subscription prices reported by AppCutter.com users”. For the operator’s own listed prices, see our Lox Club membership cost post; the Terms reserve the right to raise or lower any figure.
Cancelling is the third question this desk has put to Lox Club’s own pages, after how to get accepted and what it costs; for renewal disclosure decided by a court rather than a help centre, see the eHarmony ruling.
Questions leaving members ask
Can I pause my Lox Club membership?
No. The help centre’s FAQ states: “We don’t have the capability to pause where you are in your subscription.” The Terms of Use read on 20 September 2026 do not contain the word “pause”. The only option either page gives is to cancel the renewal, let the paid term run out and resubscribe later.
Does Lox Club automatically renew?
Yes. Section 2 of the Terms states that subscriptions “automatically renew for indefinite successive renewal terms for the same period as the initial term, until canceled by the user or by us”, and that members “are charged upon such renewals”. Cancelling before the renewal date is the only way the pages read give to stop that cycle.
How do I contact Lox Club?
The Terms give one address, hey@loxclubapp.com, for questions about “your application, membership, or any other aspect of our Services”; it is also where a “clear and specific” cancellation request can be emailed. The help centre page read carries no email address; its answer points at the iPhone Settings and Google Play screens.
This is adults-only territory, and it is perishable: membership prices and terms change often, and the store screens described here are the operator’s words, not something this desk clicked through. Confirm the current terms with the provider before you commit to a renewal, or rely on the cancellation of one.
